Tropea and Capo Vaticano: the two “jewels” of the Calabrian Tyrrhenian coast. € 35,00 per person (Entrance in Museums and in the archeological sites are not included)
Tropea, known as the “Pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea”, is one of the most popular tourist destinations. Its historic center, full of ancient noble palaces and typical shops is a constant discovery.
To visit: the Norman Cathedral which houses the painting of the Madonna of Romania, patroness of the city and numerous other works of art, overlooking the sea from which you can admire the Church of Santa Maria dell’Isola embraced by white beaches and sea of unique colors.
Continue to Capo Vaticano, one of the most beautiful promontories where the famous and centenary lighthouse is located. Crystal clear sea, coves and the view of the Aeolian Islands make the view breathtaking.

Pizzo Calabro is one of the most beautiful seaside villages in Calabria. The first visit is dedicated to the Piedigrotta Church entirely dug into the tuff. Continue through the historic center, characterized by narrow streets and squares where the beautiful Aragonese Castle is located where Gioacchino Murat, Napoleon’s brother-in-law, was shot. Short stop to taste the famous Pizzo Truffle and free time for shopping.
Art and culture in Reggio Calabria and Scilla: € 50,00 per person (Entrance in Museums and in the archeological sites are not included)
Scilla, the first stop on the excursion, is one of the most charming and characteristic villages in Italy, on the Costa Viola and facing Sicily. The oldest and most evocative part is the Chianalea locality, characteristic for its position almost immersed in the sea. The ancient village is a succession of characteristic streets where you can appreciate churches and fountains, while the Ruffo Castle dominates from above.
Our excursion continues with Reggio Calabria, an elegant Liberty-style city that belongs to the Italian period of the New Art. We will visit the National Archaeological Museum which preserves the rich collection of finds from Magna Graecia and the Riace Bronzes. We will continue the day with a pleasant walk along the promenade defined by Gabriele D’Annunzio as ‘the most beautiful kilometer in Italy’ and then we will visit the ruins of the Roman Baths, the Greek walls and the Cathedral.

An unforgettable boat experience along the Costa degli Dei, from Tropea to Capo Vaticano along characteristic bays, hidden caves accessible only by sea, sandy beaches and steep coasts and the opportunity to snorkel in crystal clear waters whose color ranges from turquoise to deep blue. The excursion lasts 2 hours.

The Aeolian Islands are among the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean Sea. The mini-cruise will take you to discover caves, bays and rocks created by nature and by the most diverse shapes. The first stop is Stromboli, still active volcano over 900m high called “spits fire”. The island, a small fishing center, is full of black and sandy beaches, ideal for swimming and relaxing. Second stop Lipari, the largest and most modern of all, with numerous shops and bars, which however retains its ancient style thanks to the 16th century walls and its castle whose history begins in 4000 BC with the succession of numerous dominations. The next stop is Vulcano, the Sulfur Island, a small jewel of the Mediterranean that offers thermal waters and sulphurous waters with excellent therapeutic properties.

This excursion will introduce us to the Calabrian countryside. Zungri, a town located on Monte Poro at 570 mt. high is one of the most interesting agricultural centers of this area. Its historical center is characterized by simple architecture of rural life that has developed over time, but which still contains expressions of simple building. Visit of the Zungri Caves and the Church of the Madonna della Neve. Continue and visit a small farm that produces small quantities of ci-polla, Nduja (typical Calabrian salami), wine, cheese and vegetables. We will taste the typical products and we will have the opportunity to buy something typical and unique.
Nicastro e Tiriolo € 50,00 per person (Entrance in Museums and in the archeological sites are not included)
Nicastro is one of the municipal districts of the city of Lamezia Terme. It was probably founded in the Byzantine era, one of the oldest in Calabria but it flourished in the Norman era, which is also attributed to the Castle, home of Frederick II, severely damaged by the earthquake of 1638. The Cathedral of SS. Pietro e Paolo, which was rebuilt after the earthquake in the Baroque style. In the afternoon the trip continues towards Tiriolo. The small village is located at 690 m a.s.l. According to the historian Armin Wolf, the Phaeacians mentioned in the Odyssey had settled in Calabria and made Tiriolo their capital. The historic center was built around the castle in the early 16th century. From the fortress it is possible to admire an enchanting panorama. Tiriolo is a center where some art workshops still operate today that produce loom and bobbin work, including traditional shawls and wool and silk fabrics. To visit: The chamber Brettia tomb, The Palazzo dei Delfini, Palazzo Alemanni, the Archaeological Museum and the Regional Costume Museum.
